This is a new project I am working on called on being afraid...
I found a description I wrote the day I had my first and only night terror, and was inspried to turn it into a poem. Poetry was a medium I used in middle and high school, but abandoned it much like I did drawing, as I left home and entered the adult world.
The initial writing was my way of trying to make sense of it—as it was happening, and in the aftermath. The poetry is a way to give voice to the visceral emotions that warred within my body and mind.
Let me know your thoughts!
