"silence feels deafening to a body attuned to chaos."

I can relate to this. Our bodies get so addicted to chaos after a while and it can take some time to settle into that stillness.

Thank you for sharing so honestly.

I read this book recently called The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend it for your journey. I think you'd find the insight to be helpful.

My thoughts are creating stillness is a resistance to the machine. It's not only hard because you're attuned to chaos, its also hard because the world runs against stillness. Everything in the environment is literally working against the goal. You're a pioneer, a leader.
